FAQ

Do you shoot film or digital?

1

All of the above! I shoot with a mix of digital mirrorless cameras and vintage film cameras. The majority of my film work is shot on medium format film with some 35mm mixed in. For the film nerds I currently shoot with my Hasseblad, Mamiya 645, Holga, and Nikon F6. The amount of film I shoot per wedding varies on the wedding and my client’s interest. Do you offer albums or prints?

2

Coming from a fine art background, I absolutely love seeing photographs printed. I offer a variety of fine art albums and books designed by me and handcrafted by skilled artisans. A printed photograph endures while technologies and trends evolve and disappear.

Do you shoot Super 8 or offer any video?

3

At this time I only make still photographs but I would be happy to send you some referrals for artists who make wedding films with sound. Super 8 (silent moving pictures) is something I offer if you are interested.

I enjoy engagement sessions, but I don’t think they are a must. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to have photographs together during this exciting time in your lives. This is a unique moment in your lives, I try to honor that with the photographs we create together. All you need to do is be yourselves as you are right now. Explore my engagement gallery →

Should we do an engagement session?

The rehearsal dinner or welcome party is a great way for me to get to know not only you but you and all your favorite people. I find it helps me develop a deeper connection to my couples and their closest family and friends. It also helps your VIP’s get to know me and everyone feels more comfortable together when we see each other on the wedding day. The photographs tell a more complete story of your wedding weekend. What about rehearsal dinner coverage?

Because every wedding is unique I create custom proposals for each couple based on your preferences and priorities. After your inquiry we schedule a phone call or video chat to discuss what options would best fit your wedding. Most couples planning a weekend wedding invest $9,000-$12,000. Intimate weekday weddings and elopements typically range from $3,000-$7,000.

What are your rates?

What is your travel policy?

7

I work as a local in New England (my current home) San Francisco, and NYC. I am willing and eager to travel to photograph your wedding anywhere in the world, and I keep my travel fees attainable.

How do we book you?

8

Once we chat and you choose the option that best fits your wedding I will create a digital quote and agreement. The booking process is complete once you accept the quote, sign the agreement, and pay the 40% retainer. The balance is due one month before the wedding date.
