Joy of the Unexpected
Some of my favorite wedding photographs come from situations that were completely unexpected. Guests are inspired to dance barefoot out in the open field, the flower girls hear about the first kiss tradition at a wedding and are absolutely obsessed (and slightly horrified) and the list goes on. I work hard to build trust with my couples and their guests. The kind of trust where I am let into the circle, told the private joke, confided in. This trust it leads me down the path to creating better photographs than if I was just an outside observer and I never take that for granted.
