How to Navigate Weddings During the Covid Years

WORKING TOGETHER TO RESCHEDULE

I am working hard to be as flexible as possible with my couple’s who are getting married during these uncertain times. All retainers can be transfered to your new date as long as I am available for said date. To confirm a new date my couples will need to sign an addendum to their original wedding agreement that confirms the new date and released the previous date. If a new date doesn’t work out I am encouraging my couples to use the retainer for another photography project (engagement session, family photography, headshot photography, a tiny wedding, etc)

WHAT DO COVID WEDDINGS LOOK LIKE?

My 2020 couples had beautiful, small, mostly outdoor weddings. Some plan to have a larger party at a later date and some are letting it be. When you are required to pare down a wedding there is time to linger, to take a few more portraits, to continue the conversation - you are left with your closest loved ones, poignant speeches, and you still get to marry your best friend. These weddings are different but carry just as much emotional weight. You can see some smaller weddings and elopements here.

WE WOULD LOVE TO GET MARRIED THIS YEAR BUT WE ARE UNSURE ABOUT WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE - WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

If you are hoping to get married in 2021 please get in touch. We can talk about the possibilities for your wedding and I am happy to put a soft hold on a date for you. If someone else becomes interested in your date I will check in and give you an opportunity to confirm or release the hold. I want to be as flexible and thoughtful as possible as we get through these unprecedented times together and I hope you will drop me an email and say hello.
